DJ Paul, 37, was arraigned Monday after being arrested on the west side for drinking booze in a public place and having a Taser in his possession.

"Im good yall!!!," the DJ Paul, real name Paul Beauregard, tweeted Monday. "Free n back drinking! Not in public wit weapons tho!!!lolol I learned my lesson wit NYC:)"

Beauregard was arrested 8 p.m. Sunday outside the Ninth Ave. Café & Grill, between 37th and 38th streets., after a cop noticed him drinking a Corona. After a Taser was "recovered" from Beauregard, he told the cop, "I use it for personal protection," according to the criminal complaint.

DJ Paul is a member of The Three 6 Mafia, which won an Academy Award in 2006 for the song "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp," in the movie "Hustle & Flow."

The rapper was released without bail and has a Dec. 17 court date.
