A roof collapse inside the former Touro College building in Murray Hill injured three construction workers Tuesday.

Firefighters said accident happened around 1:30 p.m. when the men were doing renovations on the third floor of the landmarked building on Lexington Avenue and 30th Street.

A fire department spokesman said the ceiling, which was held together by metal hangers, gave way and landed on the men who were working on a scaffolding.

Two of the workers were able to get out of the rubble, with one suffering a head wound, according to the FDNY. Firefighters were able to pull out the third worker, who didn't lose conciousness.

All of the workers were taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital and the two who suffered injuries were listed in stable condition.
