Forget the final score of the Washington game. That 34-19 win came down to the final minutes. The 7-5 Jets could use a breather, and a big home win against 5-7 Kansas City to at least stay within striking distance of wild-card leaders Baltimore and Pittsburgh - and remain in that second-level cluster with Denver, Tennessee, Cincinnati and Oakland.

They'll have to do three things in order to notch their third straight win, however.
