NYPD: Times Square temporarily shut when unattended items found
Part of Times Square was temporarily shut down after an unattended suitcase and a cooler were found Sunday night at 44th Street and Sixth Avenue, police said.
The suitcase contained clothing and the cooler was empty, the NYPD said.
A few streets in the vicinity were closed for about an hour after the suitcases were reported about 11 p.m., police said.
