A baby was delivered Monday evening in an Uber vehicle in the Lincoln Tunnel with help from the driver and Port Authority police, the app-dispatched livery service said Tuesday morning.

Uber gave the driver Yankees tickets and a "deep clean" for his vehicle, and sent the family an Uber logo onesie and offered a free ride home from the hospital, the company said.

The newborn arrived safely with assistance from Uber "driver-partner" Erick Rodriguez and police officers from the Port Authority, Uber officials said.

The company did not identify the parents and baby or reveal the gender, but said the family is from Hoboken, New Jersey.

Uber's New Jersey general manager Ana Mahony is a statement commended Rodriguez for "his quick action to help ensure the latest Uber baby arrived safely," sent best wishes to the family and thanked the Port Authority.
