Undercover detective pleads not guilty in biker incident

An undercover New York detective pleaded not guilty yesterday to gang assault in connection with an attack on an SUV driver who was chased along the Henry Hudson Parkway by a group of motorcycle riders.
Det. Wojciech Braszczok arrived in State Supreme Court in Manhattan with his face completely obscured by a wool scarf and left the building the same way. He faces charges of assault, criminal mischief and gang assault in the first degree.
Braszczok, 32, is one of 11 motorcyclists indicted over the Sept. 29 incident, a video of which went viral on the Internet.
