Several thousand labor union members have marched down Broadway to protest the nation's growing economic disparity.

Thursday's March for Jobs and Economic Fairness included labor leaders and rank and file members from over 300 New York City and tri-state unions. Some of the marchers included Occupy Wall Street protesters

The union workers carried signs saying "workers' rights are human rights" and "save the middle class." The peaceful march began at 32nd Street and ended at Union Square.

Marchers included members of Local 32BJ of the Service Employees International Union which represent cleaners at more than 1,500 New York City office buildings. Earlier, the union voted to authorize a possible strike.
