A teenager has died after apparently inhaling a deadly gas while he was parked in the driveway of his upstate New York home.

Police say 18-year-old Joshua Brisbin was found in the parked car at 7 p.m. Friday in Stillwater, about 150 miles north of New York City. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators tell The Times Union of Albany that a Hazmat team found two household chemicals in the vehicle that make hydrogen sulfide, a deadly gas, when they are mixed together.

The first two officers on the scene later went to Saratoga Hospital for treatment due to exposure to the gas.

The case is under investigation by the Saratoga County sheriff's office.
