Urologist took videos with pen cam up woman's skirt: Officials

A urologist was busted sneakily taking a video up a straphanger's skirt this week, according to officials.
A transit cop allegedly saw Adam Levinson, 39, at the Union Square subway station holding a pen clipped to a newspaper under a woman's skirt on Tuesday night during rush hour, according to court documents. When the officer checked the pen, he found a tiny camera that had recorded and saved "numerous clips" taken underneath the unidentified woman's clothing.
Levinson, a doctor at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and professor at Mount Sinai's medical school, pleaded not guilty Thursday to felony unlawful surveillance charges, and a judge set his bail at $15,000 bond. He is due back in court in October.
A spokesman for Mount Sinai said Levinson, who has twice won the Patients' Choice Award, has been suspended pending the result of the Manhattan District Attorney's investigation.
"Mount Sinai has suspended Dr. Levinson because of his alleged conduct underlying the arrest," spokesman Ian Michaels said in an email. "Mount Sinai is fully cooperating with the police and the District Attorney's office and performing its own investigation for the protection of its patients and employees."
Eugene Nathanson, Levinson's lawyer, did not return a message for comment Thursday.
Levinson faces up to four years in jail if convicted.
