Veuve Clicquot bash: Bubbly, boots and a blizzard

We braved the cold and the perfectly on-cue snowfall Wednesday night and swung by Veuve Clicquot’s "Clicquot in the Snow" winter bash at Celsius Lounge at Citi Pond, Bryant Park's ice-skating rink.

Between sips of bubbly at the fete — which was also celebrating the launch of the limited-edition DKNY for Veuve Clicquot rubber boot — we spotted Tinsley Mortimer in ski-bunny white fur, DJs Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe, social fixture Marjorie Gubelmann and DKNY exec Aliza Licht.

Also on hand: Veuve-branded snow tubes, trays of tasty pigs in a blanket and rocking music by DJ Reach. So rocking, in fact, that an impromptu dance party ensued — always the sign of a succesful soirée..

While some guests were brave enough to actually glide onto the ice rink, we checked our fondness for figure eights at the door and opted instead to stay warm and cozy with our topped off flutes Champagne. Tough life, n'est–ce pas?
