A bloody weekend across the city ended with a tragic Father’s Day for a Queens family.

Anthony McRae, 22, was fatally shot several times in the back and leg early Sunday outside an East New York deli. McRae’s relatives told the New York Post he worked two jobs to support his two-year-old son, Carter.

"Isn’t that something?" his aunt, Vivian Presley, told the Post. "He had to lose his father on Father’s Day."

Police said they were investigating and have no suspects.

A few hours earlier, five people were shot at a barbecue in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, reportedly when two people were not allowed into the party.

It was the second shooting at a house party in as many days. Three men were arrested Saturday after 20 shots were fired at an East New York party at approximately 3 a.m. A 20-year-old Brooklyn man was pronounced dead, and eight others were hospitalized in stable condition. Charges have not been filed, but police said they recovered two guns at the scene.

Around midnight Sunday, police say Thomas Dunikowski, 30, opened fire on a group of teens that was having a fight outside his Marine Park home, shooting a 14 and a 17-year-old. He was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.

Police are also investigating the death of Jerry Armstrong, 45, who was shot and killed near his home in Brownsville.

There were reportedly two other shootings in Brooklyn, two in Queens, and another in Harlem, but the victims were expected to live.
