Beach Fossils (pictured)

Dreamy lo-fi that's very now.

They're at Rock Shop with Cloud Nothings, Blair, Braids and Lesands.

They also play the early show at Pianos tomorrow, and Brooklyn Bowl later.

Drunken Barn Dance

The name is not ironic; they like drinking and they like dancing. This is the new project by Scott Sellwood of Saturday Looks Good to Me.

They're at Bruar Falls with Chris Bathgate, Comanche!, Magic Bullets and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. (Dale also plays Santos Party House later tonight.)

Bad Books

A new project by Kevin Devine & Manchester Orchestra. It's kind of '90s, but still cool.

They're at Bowery Ballroom with Right Away, Great Captain, Gobotron and Hardy Morris.
