The Manhattan-bound lanes on the Brooklyn Bridge will be closed to traffic this weekend for repairs to ramps, the city Department of Transportation said.
The closure will begin Saturday at 12:01 and end Monday at 6 a.m.
Drivers who need access to Manhattan this weekend will be redirected to the Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges and the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel. The repair work will also force the DOT to close eastbound portions of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway overnight.
The eastbound BQE will be closed between Exit 28A at Cadman Plaza West to Exit 29A at the Manhattan Bridge and Nassau Avenue on Saturday, from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m.; Sunday from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.; and 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. on Monday.
Drivers have two alternatives: Take the Atlantic Avenue exit and re-enter at Tillary Street or the Cadman Plaza West exit and follow signs to nearby BQE ramps at Sands or Tillary streets.
