Weird couples: Jennifer Love Hewitt and 'Bachelorette' castoff

One woman’s reality TV leftovers is another’s favorite dish.

The newest (and strangest) pairing to come out of television is actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and “Bachelorette” castoff Ben Flajnik. Apparently, Hewitt, 32, “began pursuing” Flajnik right after the Aug. 1 season finale, in which “Bachelorette” Ashley Hebert chose contestant J.P. Rosenbaum over Flajnik, a source told Us Weekly.

According to the mag, the two recently went on a date at San Francisco’s Lion’s Pub.
“It seemed like a first date, but he wasn’t overly affectionate,” a witness said.

“Loving the attention,” Hewitt at first played it cool — but by the end of the night, all of her attention was on Flajnik.

“As the bar started to close, she grabbed his hand and marched outside,” a source said.
