When is the Columbus Day Parade? Here's the answer and more details

The 68th annual Columbus Day Parade takes to the streets today, marching north on Fifth Avenue in honor of Christopher Columbus landing in the Americas.
The parade kicks off at 11:30 a.m. at 44th Street, and marches up Fifth Avenue to 72nd Street until around 3 p.m.
Some 35,000 people are expected to participate in the parade, organized by the Columbus Citizens Foundation, and more than 100 bands, floats and groups will march this year.
Organizers are expecting more than 1 million spectators to line the streets. The grandstand this year will be on Fifth between 67th and 69th streets.
Columbus Day Mass will be at St. Patrick's Cathedral at 50th Street and Fifth Avenue, and will take place at 9:30 a.m.
