Lenox Lounge: Lenox Lounge has been a fixture on the Harlem jazz scene since 1939. The club is still committed to the genre, with live shows every night, though the weekend shows are especially worth checking out. 288 Lenox Ave., 212-427-0253

American Legion Post #398: This venue is home to a rare Hammond B-3 organ. Stop by to listen to the Sunday evening jazz session. They also host jazz and dinner Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as every other Saturday. 248 W. 132nd St., 212-283-970
Cotton Club: The supper club is an unrelated recreation of the legendary historical venue. Mondays: 8 p.m., $25. Swing dancing; Thursdays-Fridays: 8 p.m., $50.
