A woman was struck by an L train in Williamsburg Monday morning after jumping in front of it, leaving her with serious but not fatal injuries, according to the NYPD.

The 29-year-old woman was at the Bedford Avenue and North Seventh Street stop when she was hit by the Canarsie-bound train at about 7:40 a.m., officials said.

Emergency workers pulled the woman out from underneath the train, and she was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where she was expected to recover, officials said.

The NYPD said it was unsure why the woman jumped.
