A Flushing woman was killed Sunday evening when a tree fell on the bench where she was seated in Kissena Park, the NYPD said.

The NYPD identified the victim as Yingyi Li, 30.

Police said Li was seated on a park bench when she was struck by the tree just before 6:30 p.m. She was taken to New York Hospital Queens where she was pronounced dead.

Police said the investigation was continuing Monday.

Li's husband, Aleksandar Dikov, said they were married in June 2012 and were expecting a girl in the fall, according to The Associated Press.

He said his wife graduated from Ithaca College in 2009.
