The latest video to surface of Toronto's embattled crack-smoking mayor shows a lumbering Rob Ford cursing and threatening to kill a man. The new clip, which follows Ford's admission that he did smoke crack, "is extremely embarrassing," Ford told a scrum of reporters, admitting he was extremely inebriated at the time the video was taken.

He declined to explain who he was threatening or why. "The whole world is going to see it," Ford said of the video. "I don't have a problem with that, but it's extremely embarrassing."

Calls have been mounting for the mayor of Canada's largest city to resign, but Ford has indicated he intends to remain in office. The mayor, decreed Brian Dunstan of Toronto's Sun News Network, "is a man crying out for help, whether he knows it or not."
