Zac Posen replaces Michael Kors on 'Project Runway'

Michael Kors is out and Zac Posen is in.

After 10 seasons, Kors is vacating his judging spot on the fashion competition show "Project Runway," and Posen, also a New York fashion designer, is stepping in, Lifetime announced Tuesday.

Kors is bowing out of Season 11 because of scheduling conflicts; however, he will serve as the guest judge during the season finale, where the last-standing contestants show off their wares during New York Fashion Week at Lincoln Center, according to Lifetime.

The season premieres Jan. 24. "Runway" mainstays Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn and Nina Garcia are all signed on.
