The second night of the 52nd annual Newsday Marching Band Festival has been postponed until next Monday, Oct. 20, due to weather concerns.

All tickets for Wednesday, Oct. 15, will be honored next Monday, and show times remain the same.

The festival kicked off Tuesday at Mitchel Field Athletic Complex in Uniondale with performances from 15 schools.

The schools taking part in the festival's first day were: Amityville High School, Division Avenue High School, Elwood-John Glenn High School, Freeport High School, Harborfields High School, Hicksville High School, Long Beach High School, Longwood High School, MacArthur High School, Massapequa High School, North Babylon High School, Plainedge High School, Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School, Wantagh High School and West Babylon High School.
