Meet Newsday's All-Long Island girls fencing team for the 2015-16 season.

Newsday Fencer of the Year: Macy Meng, Great Neck South, Jr.

Meng went 31-3 in dual meets and won the Nassau County championship in epee. She also won a gold medal at the Jeff Wolfe Invitational at Brentwood.

Jungsoo Ahn, Commack, Jr.

Ahn went 32-2 won the Suffolk County championship in epee.

Crystal Chen, Half Hollow Hills West, Jr.

Chen went 42-2, took first at the Jeff Wolfe Invitational in sabre, and led the combined Half Hollow Hills team to its first Long Island team championship.

Elin Hu, Manhasset, Soph.

Hu won the county title in sabre and won more than 80 percent of her dual meets.

Gabriella Musto, Commack, Sr.

Musto went 35-5 and won the Suffolk foil championship in sabre.

Lara Obedin, Ward Melville, Jr.

Obedin went 36-3 and won the Suffolk individual championship in foil.

Tia Petrides, Garden City, Soph.

Petrides went 33-7 in dual meets and won the individual county title in foil. She also helped lead Garden City to the Nassau team championship.
