'Next Big Thing' winners Chloe and Halle Bailey

We interviewed Chloe and Halle Bailey, season five winners of Radio Disney's "Next Big Thing." These talented sisters are singers and actresses who have appeared in shows such as "The Fighting Temptations," "Meet the Browns" and "House of Payne."

How did you prepare for becoming the "Next Big Thing"?

Chloe: We just continued to practice, work on our instruments. Because we were in the competition we went on tour with all the contestants. It allowed us to grow with our craft and build our vocals up, and it was great.

What was it like winning?

Chloe: It was amazing. Because of that experience, so many doors and opportunities have opened up. So we couldn't have traded it for the world.

Halle: And I really didn't think we were going to win at all. So I was really surprised.

Is it exciting to meet all the Disney actors and actresses?

Halle: Yes, it really is. You watch the Disney Channel all the time and you're like, "OMG there's [the cast of] 'Austin & Ally,' there's 'Ant Farm' " -- and you actually meet them. We're just a big happy family.

Who influenced you to audition for "Next Big Thing"?

Chloe: Seeing like Coco [Jones], she was great in "Next Big Thing."

Halle: And so when the people from Radio Disney's "Next Big Thing" saw our videos on YouTube, they asked us to audition, we were like, "Oh gosh, that's so cool!" That's so awesome that we got to do that.

What instruments do you play?

Chloe: I play the piano.

Halle: And I play the guitar.

Chloe: And when I was in school, I'm home-schooled now, I used to play the violin.

Halle: I used to play the cello.

How old are you?

Chloe: I'm 14, and Hailey is 13. Who did you guys think was older when you came over here?

What is your favorite movie?

Chloe: I love action movies, so I loved "The Avengers."

Halle: I loved "Twilight" and "The Hunger Games."

If you could make any other Disney show what would it be?

Halle: We actually did "Austin & Ally" and that was a wonderful experience. If we wanted to do a different one . . .

Chloe: I'd choose "Shake it Up" and "Ant Farm."
