Nicole Altchiler, Half Hollow Hills High School East.
Nicole Altchiler is a senior at Half Hollow Hills High School East and a Dance major at Long Island High School for the Arts. Nicole was accepted to LIHSA by audition. She studies ballet, modern and jazz as part of her regular high school curriculum and is a valued member of the Long Island High School for the Arts Repertory Company.
In addition to her classes at LIHSA, Nicole trains at Variations: A Dancer’s Studio and Danny Holdstein’s Two Worlds Dance and Fitness. Nicole has competed in various regional competitions and was named Young Dancer of the Year for Long Island at the American Dance Awards.
As an excellent academic student, Nicole has been named to the National Honor Society, the Spanish National Honor Society and participates in High School East’s Dance Team and Kickline.
Nicole plans to major in Dance in college and hopes to pursue a career as a dancer.
