No. 22 Butler routs Missouri State in Puerto Rico Tipoff
Kelan Martin scored 18 points off the bench and Butler put on another offensive show to beat Missouri State, 93-59, in the first round of the Puerto Rico Tipoff yesterday.
Andrew Chrabascz also scored 18 for the Bulldogs (2-0), who flirted with cracking the 100-point mark for the second time. Butler scored a program-record 144 points in last weekend's opener against The Citadel.
Butler shot 60 percent and made 8 of 17 three-pointers, and committed only eight turnovers. Dequon Miller scored 15 points to lead the Bears (0-2), who fell to 6-35 all-time against ranked opponents.
Virginia 82, Bradley 57: Anthony Gill scored 16 points to lead No. 6 Virginia at the Charleston Classic in South Carolina.
Arizona 88, Boise State 76: Gabe York scored 23 points for the host No. 12 Wildcats.
Indiana 86, Creighton 65: In Bloomington, James Blackmon Jr. scored 19 points to lead No. 14 Indiana.
