The Hurricanes (21-3, 12-0) finished with their fewest points of the season. Their high-scoring guard duo of Durand Scott and Shane Larkin totaled 3-for-16 shooting and 10 points.

Michigan 79, Penn St. 71: Trey Burke scored 29 points and Glen Robinson III added 21 for the host No. 4 Wolverines (22-4).

Wisconsin 71, Ohio State 49: Ben Brust and Jared Berggren each scored 15 points as No. 20 Wisconsin (18-8) routed visiting No. 13 Ohio State. DeShaun Thomas led the Buckeyes (18-7) with 18 points.

Arizona 68, Utah 64: Mark Lyons scored 18 points as visiting No. 9 Arizona (21-4) snapped a two-game skid.

James Madison 68, Hofstra 60: Andreana Thomas and Shante Evans (12 rebounds) each had 16 points for host Hofstra (12-12, 8-5 CAA), which mounted a second-half rally from 20 points down, but Tarik Hislop's 24 points helped James Madison (17-8, 11-2) hold on for the win. Thomas and Evans totaled 26 points in the second half. Candace Bond scored 11 points and Anma Onyeuku had 14 rebounds.

St. John's 75, Cincinnati 46: Nadirah McKenith had 20 points and eight assists for the Red Storm (13-10, 7-4 Big East).
