Service on the No. 4 and 5 trains will be reduced at night this week as MTA crews make repairs to express tunnels as part of the agency's Fast Track maintenance program.

During weeknights, from Monday until Friday morning, the No. 4 train will run local between 125th Street and Grand Central-42nd Street in both directions. No. 5 service ends early each night, except for Bronx stations between Dyre Avenue and East 180th Street.

For alternatives to the No. 5 train, straphangers can take the No. 4 train from 149th Street-Grand Concourse in the Bronx to Bowling Green in Manhattan. No. 5 train riders can also take the No. 2 train between East 180th Street and 149th Street-Grand Concourse.
