North Rockland School Board To Honor Top 20 Seniors
Twenty of the top seniors of the North Rockland High School Class of 2013 and their parents will be honored at the April 2 meeting of the school district's board of education.
The students will be introduced by Principal Michael Gill and presented with certificates and congratulated by board President Deborah Gatti, Superintendent Ileana Eckert and members of the board and administration.
The class valedictorian is Valerie Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nelson of Stony Point, and class salutatorian is Kimberly Winkler, daughter of Mr. Wayne Winkler of Stony Point.
The other students in the Top 20 list include Victoria Mevs, Caitlin Curran, Julia Dunnigan, Megan Lenore, Thomas Landes, Jacqueline Selvaggi, Kerry McKeever, Nicholas Russo, Adam Schneider, Thomas DiDomizio, Kimberly Kenny, Omowumi Ademola, Nicholas Minervini, Melissa Brenner, Kieran Murphy, Carolina Omelanczuk, Michael Smith and Amber Aspinall.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the auditorium of North Rockland High School on Hammond Road in Thiells. In addition to an introduction of the honorees, the board will give a presentation of the 2013-2014 budget and hold a public input session.
