Advocates of public campaign financing have added two more Long Island senators to the list of politicians they are pressuring.

"Fair Elections for New York" recently mailed constituents of Sens. Lee Zeldin (R-Shirley) and Phil Boyle (R-Bay Shore) urging that they tell the senators to support lower campaign-contribution limits and public campaign financing.

Previously, the group announced its mailings to eight other districts, including that of Sen. Kemp Hannon (R-Garden City).

An array of liberal groups is behind the push. Republicans have opposed public campaign financing.
