Yanks open at Shea
Yankee Stadium was undergoing renovations, so the Yankees played the 1974 and 1975 seasons at Shea Stadium. In their first home game outside Yankee Stadium since 1922, the Yankees defeated the Cleveland Indians, 6-1, before a crowd of 20,744.
