Last Army-Navy game in NYC

Ed Herb's second rushing touchdown of the game gave Army a 17-7 win against Navy at Yankee Stadium. It was the last time the preeminent series would be played in New York City, and just the second time the game was played in The Stadium. The series called New York City its home 11 times, including nine at the Polo Grounds. New York ranks second behind Philadelphia (83 times) for the most popular site in the series' history. Navy, which won the 111th meeting, 31-17, yesterday, leads the all-time series 55-49-7.
