Ewing returns to MSG as a Sonic
Patrick Ewing returned to Madison Square Garden for the first time since his September trade to Seattle. Ewing, who was selected by the Knicks No. 1 overall in the 1985 NBA Draft, had 12 points and five rebounds, as the Knicks topped Seattle, 101-92. The Knicks failed to record a steal in a game for the first time in franchise history. After a season in Seattle, and 2001-02 in Orlando, Ewing retired with 24,815 points and 11,607 rebounds in his 17-year NBA career.
