Ewing Joins

Club 15,000

Patrick Ewing became the 68th player in NBA history to score 15,000 career points as he tallied 34 points on 12-of-22 shooting in a 106-94 win over the Timberwolves. Additionally, he went 10-for-12 on the free throw line to pass Walt "Clyde" Frazier on the franchise's all-time free throws made list with 3,146. When he retired in 2002, Ewing was 13th on the NBA's all-time scoring list (24,815). By the time the Knicks traded him in 2000, Ewing was nearly 2,000 free throws clear of Frazier's previous record.
