Dukes leads Seton Hall to NIT win

Seton Hall won its first NIT title with a 58-46 win over St. John's in front of 18,496 at Madison Square Garden. The Pirates' Walter Dukes had 21 points and 20 rebounds and was named the tournament MVP. Later that year, Dukes was selected by the Knicks as a territorial pick in the NBA draft. He played one season for the Knicks and went on to average 10.4 points and 11.3 rebounds during his eight-year NBA career.
