NYPD: Brooklyn Bridge closed for unattended vehicle
The New York Police Department has shut down both sides of the Brooklyn Bridge after a call came in around 5:15 p.m for an unattended vehicle, a spokesman for the department said.
The vehicle was found about mid span on the Manhattan bound side of the bridge, police said, and the bridge was closed in both directions shortly thereafter. No other details were available.
