Observations from the final practice of camp

The Jets held their last official practice of training camp on Tuesday. (They play their final preseason game on Friday). There was a lot of team competition and move the ball periods. Here are some observations

• Geno Smith was sharp, unofficially completing 19 of 22 passes with one touchdown and led another touchdown drive. Smith completed his last nine passes and had one bad throw, which should have been picked off on the sideline by cornerback Jarvis Brownlee.
• Braelon Allen caught a touchdown pass and ran for one. Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell had six catches and rookie Omar Cooper Jr. had four.
• Rookie edge rusher David Bailey blew up a run on the first play of team competition. His run defense is something the Jets have been working to improve.
• The Jets’ backup O-Line didn't have a good day. Rookie Cade Klubnik was “sacked” at least five times. He held on to the ball too long a couple of times, but the O-Line also kept getting beaten. It could be concerning. Klubnik was under pressure a lot in Friday’s preseason game in Pittsburgh.
• Defensively, J.J. Enagbare had two sacks and Andre Cisco broke up a pass intended for Cooper in the end zone and had a tackle for loss.
