'Odd Couple' benefits kids with cancer
A Hicksville charity for children with cancer will present a fundraising performance of Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” on Friday and Saturday nights in Seaford.
The Sarah Grace Foundation For Children With Cancer Inc. was founded after Sarah Grace Weippert’s death from leukemia in 2002, at age 12. Her father, Matt Weippert, serves as the foundation’s executive director, receiving referrals from pediatric cancer centers on Long Island to help families with seriously ill children.
The fundraising theatrical performance, directed by David Coonan, will begin at 7 p.m. both nights at the Maria Regina Church school auditorium, 3945 Jerusalem Ave., Seaford. Tickets are $10.
