Off the Wall just can't get enough.

AWARDS ALERT Ricky Gervais is back as the host of the (everyone fervently hopes) booze-laden "68th Annual Golden Globe Awards" (Sunday, 8-11 p.m., NBC/4), handing out trophies for movies and TV. Start early with "Live From the Red Carpet" (6-8 p.m., E!) and "Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet" (7 p.m., NBC/4). If you miss the bash itself, Bravo airs a replay Tuesday, 6-9 p.m. Nominees at goldenglobes.org.

YOUR BRAIN ON DRUGS The frying pans on old TV public-service "scare" spots give way to thorough investigation in "Drugged" (Sunday, 8 and 9 p.m. Monday, 9 p.m., NatGeo). The two-night event from the producers of "Inside the Living Body" spends three hours showing what happens to our lungs, heart, brain and blood vessels while using drugs (marijuana, cocaine and ecstasy). Now you'll know what causes the munchies. Video at natgeotv.com/series/drugged.

SCANDAL! First comes the televangelist: "Ted Haggard: Scandalous" (Sunday, 10 p.m., TLC) examines the current comeback of the Colorado pastor caught five years ago using both a male prostitute and crystal meth. Then come the sitcoms: "Gilligan's Island," "One Day at a Time," "The Jeffersons" and "Cheers" are among the shows (un) covered in "The Truth Behind the Sitcom Scandals" (Tuesday, 8 p.m.-midnight, repeats midnight-4 a.m., Bio). DRAMA DEBUTS Vampire/werewolf/ghost. It's not the latest rock/paper/scissors game. It's the triumvirate of hot young roomies in "Being Human" (Monday, 9 p.m., Syfy), adapted from the British hit seen on BBC America. Kathy Bates stars in David E. Kelley's latest legal/laughs combo, "Harry's Law" (Monday, 10 p.m., NBC/4). A fresh-faced teen ensemble does adult things in the American version of British dramedy hit "Skins" (Monday, 10 p.m., MTV). Sarah Shahi from NBC's "Life" returns in her own show, "Fairly Legal" (Thursday, 10 p.m., USA), as a mediator sorting out her personal problems. Preview at usanetwork .com/series.

COMEDY CORNUCOPIA There's fresh standup: "Denis Leary & Friends" (Sunday at 10 p.m., Comedy Central), also featuring Adam Ferrara, Lenny Clarke and Whitney Cummings. And new sitcoms: the Florida generation gap laffer "Retired at 35" (Wednesday, 10:30 p.m., TV Land), with George Segal, Jessica Walter and Johnathan McClain, and the relationship comparison "Perfect Couples" (Thursday, 8:30 p.m., NBC/4), with Olivia Munn and Kyle Bornheimer. There's also spoofery and sketchfests: "Onion News Network" (Friday, 10 p.m., IFC) and "Portlandia" (Friday, 10:30 p.m., IFC), from Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein. Video at ifc.com/series.

IT'S HOWDY DOODY TIME. Also time for Rod Serling, "Star Trek," "Gunsmoke," Angie Dickinson, "I Spy," "Romper Room" and more, as "Pioneers of Television" (Tuesday at 8 p.m., PBS/13) launches another four weeks collecting early TV memories.
