Off the Wall could use a laugh.
TITUS GETS MAD Well, who wouldn't, the way things are today? The stand-up special "Christopher Titus: Voice in My Head" (Saturday night 10-11:30, Comedy Central) even goes after babies! The comic also lets himself have it, recounting his life's craziest screwups. Hear more "never unbiased, always unbalanced" humor at tituspodcast.com.
HORRORS! Did you know it's almost Halloween? Just ask TV. It's loading up on terror treats like the 24th annual "treehouse" from "The Simpsons" (Sunday at 8 p.m., Fox/5), the supernatural soap premiere "Witches of East End" (tomorrow at 10 p.m., Lifetime) and Northport native Patti LuPone in the new "Coven" season of "American Horror Story" (Wednesday at 10 p.m., FX). Reality starts fresh seasons of "Halloween Wars" (tomorrow at 9 p.m., Food) and "Ghost Hunters" (Wednesday at 9 p.m., Syfy), then visits Alcatraz on "Ghost Adventures" (Friday at 9 p.m., Travel). Also back: the anthology drama "Fear Itself" (tomorrow at 8 and 9 p.m., Chiller), from top directors like this week's Larry Fessenden and Stuart Gordon. More at chillertv.com.
BIGGER THAN TEXAS? BIGGER THAN JERSEY?! Suddenly, Alaska is the hot (ironic, no?) unscripted setting. Witness the new series "Alaskan Women Looking for Love" (tomorrow at 10 p.m., TLC) and "Alaska Gold Diggers" (Thursday at 8 p.m., Animal Planet). There's also the third-season return of "Alaska: The Last Frontier" (tomorrow at 9 p.m., Discovery), tracking the Kilcher wilderness family that gave us singer Jewel. Video at discovery.com/alaska.
WATCHING PEOPLE WATCH TV Yes. It has come to this. New series "The People's Couch" (tomorrow at 11:30 p.m., Bravo) shows viewers commenting on popular shows and news as they watched during the previous week. See them cheer, jeer, laugh, cry and talk back at fall's new shows. (What, no cameras at my house?) It's based on the British series "Gogglebox." Which proves, yes, the Brits are indeed more dull than us. (Even if their show titles aren't.) Check out channel4.com/gogglebox.
'WALKING DEAD' MARATHON Get ready for next weekend's fourth season start by re-watching all 35 previous episodes of AMC's "The Walking Dead" (Monday-Tuesday 8 p.m.-1:30 a.m., Wednesday 8 p.m.-1 a.m., Thursday 8 p.m.-midnight, Friday 8 p.m.-1 a.m.). This week's encores cover seasons 1 and 2 and the first part of season 3. (All of season 3 runs next weekend to catch us up.) Fresh webisodes are at amctv.com/thewalkingdead.
