Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and local community leaders will re-dedicate Washington Avenue Park in Seaford on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. to mark the completion of a major renovation project.

As part of the project, the four-acre park got separate playing areas for preschoolers and older children, ballfields with synthetic turf infields, fencing for the player areas, dugouts, new spectator areas and new pathways to the parking lot.

Officials will be joined at the event by the Seaford Little League. The park is located at the corner of Jerusalem and Washington avenues in Seaford.
