On TV tonight: Smith vs. Kidd, TNA special ref announced

There's four hours or original wrestling programming on TV tonight. Here's a quick look.

. I mentioned earlier today that WWE Superstars will sometimes surprise you with a fairly marquis match-up and/or storyline development. It looks like tonight is a good example of that. Following their split, former Hart Dynasty partners and childhood friends David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd do battle in their first one-on-one match tonight on Superstars, which airs at 8 p.m. on WGN America. Other matches include Tyler Reks vs. Trent Barreta and William Regal vs. Darren Young. More info is available here.

. TNA Impact airs at 9 p.m. on Spike. It's the final episode heading into Sunday's Final Resolution pay per view.  Here's TNA's official preview of the show, available on TNAWrestling.com.

- Dixie Carter is back in TNA Wrestling - what will be the fallout in Immortal after her court order against Hulk Hogan? Tune in and find out on Thursday!

- "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan will announce his special referee for the World Title match against Jeff Hardy this Sunday at Final Resolution

- Will Brother Devon answer Brother Ray's challenge to face him in the iMPACT Zone this Thursday? Are the former Team 3D members about to go to war?

- In a non-title four-way match, it will be TNA World Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns vs. beer Money vs. Generation Me vs. Ink Inc

- In a non-title 3-Way Knockouts match, it will be champion Madison Rayne vs. Angelina Love vs. Sarita

- Plus, The Pope and Samoa Joe team up to take on Jeff Jarrett and Abyss

. Remember, after Impact, Spike airs TNA's weekly documentary-style show, Reaction.

. My favorite wrestling guilty pleasure, AWA Wrestling on ESPN Classics is being pre-empted by 2010 Nationals Rodeo.
