Only one injury to note from Giants' preseason opener
The Giants came through Saturday’s preseason opening loss relatively clean injury wise. The only concern was running back Dante Miller limping off the field in the fourth quarter.
Miller returned to the game but was still in pain afterwards. John Harbaugh said Sunday that Miller has a groin injury and the team will know later how serious it is.
“That’s about the only thing right now that is up in the air,” Harbaugh said.
He noted Saturday the Giants should get some guys back this week who were dealing with minor injuries. That could include cornerback Paulson Adebo, who Harbaugh said was day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
The Giants will have two practices this week before flying to Miami for a joint practice with the Dolphins on Thursday ahead of their preseason matchup Saturday.
