Orient man charged with DWI

A 35-year-old Orient man was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving without a license early Saturday morning on Route 25 in Orient, police said.

Donald R. Johnson Jr. was stopped for vehicle and traffic violations, Southold Town police said.

Johnson was held overnight and was awaiting arraignment Saturday morning, police said.
