Oyster Bay man charged in drug possession
An Oyster Bay man was arrested Saturday night when, Nassau County police said, officers found him in possession of cocaine.
Police conducting a covert investigation in Oyster Bay said that Manuel Perez, 35, was found with the drug.
Perez was arrested at 11 p.m. and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
