The Town of Oyster Bay is soliciting nominees for its seventh annual Kids of Distinction scholarship program.

The program focuses on activities kids participate in outside of school that benefit the community. Nominees can be submitted in two age groups, grades five through eight and nine through 12. Three winners will be selected in each category.

Nomination forms are available at Town Hall North, 54 Audrey Ave., Oyster Bay, and Town Hall South, 977 Hicksville Rd., Massapequa, as well as at local libraries and at oysterbaytown.com. Winners will be recognized at an Oyster Bay Town Board meeting at 7 p.m. May 17 and will be presented a $500 scholarship.
