The town of Lindenhurst will hold a parade in honor of its state champion baseball team Friday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at the Fireman's Park Little League field and continue to Wellwood Avenue. The parade will turn south and end at the Lindenhurst Middle School football field.

Lindenhurst defeated Guilderland for the state Class AA championship in Binghamton last Saturday. It was the Bulldogs' first state baseball title. The team hadn't won a county championship since 1963.
