The Village of Patchogue board of trustees will meet tonight to vote on the fate of a $100-million development plan for the historic Four Corners area of the village.

The project calls for 17,000 square feet of office space, 45,000 square feet of retail space and 291 rental apartments at the former Sweezey's property and its adjacent sites in the heart of downtown. A previous proposal included a hotel, but developer Tritec Real Estate Co. couldn’t attract an operator.
