It wasn't bad enough that the Penguins had a rough night at Nassau Coliseum on Friday. They followed it up with an eventful afternoon Saturday in Manhattan.

After the team changed into its equipment - minus skates - at Madison Square Garden in order to practice in Central Park, their bus collided with a car. No one was injured, but the coaches, staff and players holding sticks and equipment bags hailed cabs in order to get to the outdoor rink. The Penguins' website posted numerous photos of the adventure.

New York hasn't been particularly kind to the Penguins this month. On Feb. 1, during a morning skate at the Garden before facing the Rangers, center Mark Letestu caught his skate in a rut on the ice and suffered a knee injury that will sideline him four to six weeks.
