The white substance slowing traffic Thursday in North Babylon wasn't snow.
Southbound lanes of Deer Park Avenue at Garnet Street were closed for a short period about 2 p.m. after a truck lost about 75 1-gallon containers of milk in the road.
The North Babylon fire department led the cleanup.
