Pick'em: Nassau Class A boys lacrosse playoffs

The Nassau Class A boys lacrosse quarterfinals begin Tuesday. Below is a quick look at each game. Below that, you can vote on who will win each game.
No. 1 Massapequa vs. No. 8 East Meadow
Tuesday, 8:00 p.m., at Hofstra
About Massapequa (12-2): The Chiefs' version of the Killer Bs — Paul Bentz, Craig Berge and James Byrns — have disrupted defenses all season. The trio totaled almost 200 points during the regular season.
About East Meadow (9-6): The Jets received consistent contributions from Jake Borresen, Chris Buschi and Bryan Lehman, who each scored at least 20 goals this year.
No. 4 Farmingdale vs. No. 5 Hicksville
Tuesday, 5:30 p.m., at Hofstra
About Farmingdale (10-5): The Dalers received a huge playoff lift with the return of faceoff specialist John Ragno (ankle, toe). The team has played solid defense all year, but its offense has been stagnant at times. Ragno could make a difference.
About Hicksville (7-8): The offense revolves around Pat McCormick, who scored more than 50 goals. Mike Osmundsen is the only other Comet to score more than 20.
No. 3 Port Washington vs. No. 6 Plainview JFK
Wednesday, 5:30 p.m., at Hofstra
About Port Washington (10-4): The Vikings have a strong team on both ends of the field. John Crawley quarterbacks the offense, but when he has been double-teamed, Joey Frocarro and Luke Rizzo have stepped up. Nicky Ferrero recorded 120 saves during the regular season.
About Plainview JFK (9-6): Freshman Kevin Pastier had a few good scoring games and could be a factor. Alex Seltzer had 130 saves.
No. 2 Syosset vs. No. 7 MacArthur
Wednesday, 8 p.m., at Hofstra
About: Syosset (11-4, 7-1): Standout sophomore Alex Concannon helped manage the offense and Alex Hatzopolous, Andrew Keith and Mac O'Keefe all benefited. The defending A champion have Johns Hopkins bound-goalie Ryan Feit in the cage, and seem poised for another long playoff run.
About MacArthur (10-5): The Generals enter the playoffs having won two in a row, outscoring opponents 26-7 in those games.
